Summary

The centromere is a specialised chromosomal locus that forms the kinetochore and ensures faithful chromosome segregation. In this paper, we present a novel microscopy-based approach called “APEX-chromatin fibers” for localising protein binding over the repetitive centromeric sequences at kilobase resolution.
