Chancellor’s fellowships are highly prestigious 5-year tenure track fellowships focussed on data-enabled research and innovation. Our interests in data-driven innovation for this post are focused in particular on the use of remotely-sensed biological data in agriculture and crop science. The Fellow will benefit from recent investment in extensive new plant growth research facilities and a new research and technology hub currently being built at the King’s Buildings Campus, where crop science, environmental sustainability and food security research is centred within the School of Biological Sciences and the School of Geosciences. The University’s Agritech Initiative also encompasses the Global Academy in Agriculture and Food Security, and the Easter Bush campus which provides a focus for companies undertaking strategic, commercial and collaborative research in the Animal and Veterinary Sciences.
