A programme to support your transition back to work after Maternity Leave, Shared Parental Leave or Adoption/Surrogacy Leave. The University of Edinburgh is committed to supporting employees who are new parents. As part of this commitment, the University is providing you with expert support to help your transition back into the workplace. All employees returning to work from Maternity Leave, Shared Parental Leave, Adoption/Surrogacy Leave are eligible to apply. You will be offered two two-hour coaching sessions with a qualified career coach, prefaced by an initial set-up call and brief but focused pre-work. The programme content covers the following: Preparing for the challenge of change and ways to manage it Setting mutual expectations between returner and employer Confidence and capability building strategies Assertiveness & time management Building networks Action planning and resource signposting This service is provided at no cost to you as an individual.
