Visiting Faculty With the aim of enhancing global exposure for GBU academics and students, GBU offers visiting placements for University of Edinburgh (UoE) academics. UoE academics are invited to contribute to the Visiting Faculty programme at GBU. Colleagues are expected to travel to GBU for short visits (up to two weeks), to contribute to teaching and learning, and to engage in research collaborations and industrial engagements along with GBU academics.Visiting UoE academics can also input to the faculty training and mentorship at GBU. Colleagues at both institutions can benefit from expanding their research networks, enhancing their own teaching practices, cultural competency learning and engaging in global scientific exchange.UoE faculty will have the opportunity to enhance their impact profile while helping shape innovative science at GBU, and to network within the wider higher education ecosystem in Gujarat. Contact Us Postgraduate Taught Student placements at Edinburgh Each year starting March 2024, we will offer research placements for 14 weeks to GBU MSc students, at the University of Edinburgh (UoE).The visiting GBU students will work with GBU and UoE co-supervisors to jointly develop a project proposal. 12 students will join us in 2024 across SBS, School of Chemistry, and College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, with 25 students set to visit in February 2025, and we envision these projects will foster further research collaborations between faculties.
