Image The new UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Biomedical Artificial Intelligence (AI) is stimulated by the growing role that AI technologies will play in using data to transform the understanding and practice of biomedicine. Building on a tradition of world-leading research and innovation at Edinburgh, the Centre will train a new generation of interdisciplinary scientists to harness the power of AI to deliver new biomedical breakthroughs. The Centre will encourage the development of AI systems which are effective, ethical and empowering to scientists and users alike. The interdisciplinary training programme includes technical AI skills and biomedical foundations, as well as individually tailored training on anticipating and addressing societal issues connected with the student’s research. About the Programme Fully funded 4-year studentship, covering tuition fees, competitive stipend and travel/research support.
