Diversity and Inclusion Leads

Professor Sinead Collins - Director, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Sinead leads the School’s EDI strategy. She sits on the College of Science and Engineering EDI Committee as well as the School Executive Committee.

Louise Bishop -  Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Administrator

Louise runs the practical side of the EDI work at the School. She works with projects and initiatives, and assists with analysing available data to develop programmes for change.

Biology Teaching Organisation Student Support Team

The team offers support and study skills guidance to all undergraduate and taught postgraduate students in our school.

The team are open to supporting students that would like to talk about microaggressions or inappropriate behaviour in the learning context.

Tackling Racial Inequality - Reporting Experiences

The School has established a reporting form where you can share you comments and experiences of racism or racial inequality in all its forms at the School or University.

The online form allows you to submit your comments anonymously if preferred, please note that we will not be able to follow-up on your specific case if anonymous.

Your comments will be delivered to the School’s Inclusion and Diversity Administrator, who will discuss your feedback with other EDI leads with a view to developing a School strategy to improve experiences for people of colour (POC).
