The Institute for Academic Development (IAD) provides study skills support for students.

The IAD's dedicated Study Hub has self-help study development resources and a companion blog and twitter feed, available online 24/7 on specific study skills topics such as:

  • Academic writing
  • Time management
  • Critical thinking
  • Dissertations and research projects

The Study Hub is designed to help you to make the most of your university studies by giving you the tools to develop more effective working and learning strategies. Their aspiration is that Study Hub is accessible to all, open and inviting.

IAD Study Hub

The Institute for Academic Development (IAD) offer a range of digital workshops and events, and one-to-one study skills sessions that are tailored to postgraduate taught students. These workshops are open to all PGT students, and are free to book on to.
