Student Code of Conduct

Academic Misconduct and Dignity and Respect.

Every student of the University is required to familiarise themself with and adhere to University regulations, policies and codes of practice on student behaviour.

When a student fails to observe University rules and regulations, disciplinary action may be taken against them through the procedures set out in the University’s Code of Student Conduct.

Academic Misconduct

Academic misconduct is any type of cheating that occurs in relation to a formal academic exercise.

The University takes all reported incidences of academic misconduct seriously and seeks to ensure that they are dealt with efficiently and appropriately.

Dignity and Respect

The School and the University is committed to providing an inclusive and safe working environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

To support this, a ‘Report + Support’ platform has been introduced for both students and staff. This is a platform that gives everyone a simple and informal way to raise concerns about bullying, harassment or discrimination.
