Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Support for teachers with the methods, theory and practice of scholarly teaching activities.

These activities include carrying out discipline based or wider pedagogical projects, individual or collaborative development of teaching practices and gaining qualifications. This is termed the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) within the School.

Teaching accreditation

We host a bimonthly Learning and Teaching forum, and a College of Science and Engineering (CSE) teaching community. 

Teaching Communities and Forums

There is a modest teaching development fund to which you can apply for attendance at conferences or to support other pedagogical pursuits such as publication of your work.
