Find out about the Biology Teaching Organisation (BTO) and how they support and manage teaching administration.

The administration of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate taught (PGT) programmes is coordinated by the Biology Teaching Organisation (BTO). 

The team manages all aspects of UG and PGT teaching administration and delivery, providing support to staff and students on all teaching-related processes.

Their aim is to support students throughout their academic journey, from application through to graduation, and beyond. The BTO team can provide assistance with:

  • Timetables and room bookings
  • Programme and course support
  • Tutorial groups
  • In course assessment and examinations
