The team provides a range of technical and support services, responsive to academic research and teaching community requirements.

We locally manage issues concerning the physical space occupied by the School, in liaison with the University Estates and Buildings Department.

We also operate an emergency on-call system for urgent or emergency issues out-of-hours concerning our specialist installations. This is generally for specific items that are critical to our research, such as the alarm monitoring system for the cryostorage facilities and ULT freezers, temperature-controlled rooms and specialist gas installations for tissue culture rooms.
