Scientific and Technology Advisory Board

The independent Scientific and Technology Advisory Board (STAB) has oversight of the DRP-HCB. The board is composed of external technological experts and renowned discovery scientists with expertise relevant to the aims of the DRP-HCB.

As of 2024, the STAB members are:

• Dr Vladimir Benes, Head of Genomics Core Facility and Scientific Ombudsperson, EMBL Heidelberg, Germany.
• Prof. Cristina Cardoso, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany
• Prof. Christoph Merten, EPFL, Laboratory of Biomedical Microfluidics (LBMM), Lausanne, Switzerland.
• Prof. Carolyn Moores, Professor of Structural Biology, School of Natural Sciences, Birkbeck, University of London
• Prof. Markus Ralser, Director, Institute of Biochemistry, Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany.
   

STAB Meetings are held held annually. The Steering Committee, Core Mangers and Technologists, and major DRP-HCB users present the latest outputs and technical developments.  The meetings will provide an opportunity for cross-disciplinary networking and identification of opportunities where the DRP-HCB could have major impact.
