A Student-Led AMR Network EastBio students Ava Drake and Larissa M. Chicoski have launched NextGenAMR, a new student-led network designed to connect PhD researchers across disciplines who are interested in antimicrobial resistance (AMR).The network, created by students for students and early career researchers, provides an interdisciplinary and supportive space to collaborate, share ideas, and explore AMR-related research. Activities will include online meetups such as journal clubs, podcasts, and research discussions, alongside occasional in-person workshops and public engagement events.NextGenAMR held its kick-off launch meeting on August 27th and will also be presenting at the upcoming EastBio induction day.
