EastBio Induction Day

The EastBio Induction Day (last held in person in Edinburgh, 10-11 October 2023), hosted by one of the EastBio partners for incoming students, officially launches the EastBio training programme for the new intake.

A series of talks and workshops provide a comprehensive introduction to key aspects of the partnership. Break-out sessions enable students and supervisors in each of the four priority areas to discuss the specifics of their research, common ground between the different projects, opportunities for furthering collaboration and expectations and provisions for the theme training sessions.

The Induction is an opportunity to meet the EastBio team and Management, current student reps and benefit from sessions designed to facilitate your joining of the Training Programme. Induction covers the EastBio training requirements and options, well-being support, and workshops on inclusive communication, mental health and project management. 

The 2024 Induction and Training Days will be held on the 9-10th October 2024 in Stirling.
