Start Up
1. Remove cover, do not put the cover on the floor! |

![]() 3. Turn on spinning disk, blue box to LHS of microscope and key |

![]() 4. Turn on the main power and then the microscope |

![]() 5. Turn on laser box. Then turn on the key, bottom shelf below spinning disk and microscope power boxes |
6. Turn on the piezo, on the top shelf |
7. Check the camera has stopped showing a flashing light. Then turn on the digital trigger box on top shelf, this will also turn on the computer |
8. Turn on White light (CoolLED) |
Shutdown
1. Close software and shutdown computer |
2. Remove your sample and if you have used an oil objective gently clean the oil from the objective using lens tissue and ethanol, do not use the 70% ethanol or tissue paper these are provided for cleaning work surfaces |
3. Turn off microscope, wait for lights on the front to stop flashing before turning off the microscope main power box |
4. Turn off White light, Piezo, Laser box (key then power), Spinning Disk (key and then blue box), Camera and digital trigger box |
5. Replace microscope cover |
