The University of Edinburgh has officially become a member of the Supergen Bioenergy Hub which works with academia, industry, government and societal stakeholders to develop sustainable bioenergy systems that support the UK’s transition to an affordable, resilient, low-carbon energy future. Image The Hub provides a variety of funding opportunities on bioenergy research including a one-year fellowship, rapid response and flexible funding. Dr Abdelrahman Zaky and Dr Ondřej Mašek are the main points of contact at the University. SynthSys member and sponsored Research Fellow in the Chris French Lab, Abdelrahman Zaky, was also elected a Chair for the early career network (SHARE).
