Understanding Bacterial Host-Pathogen Interactions

We study how bacterial pathogens infect, survive, and replicate within their hosts, to inform new diagnostics and therapeutics for infectious disease. We are based at the Institute of Immunology & Infection Research (IIIR) at the University of Edinburgh.
