PhD student. Image Pragya is from New Delhi (India). She graduated from Miranda House (University of Delhi, India) with a degree in Life Sciences and completed my postgraduation in Biotechnology at Vellore Institute of Technology (Tamil Nadu, India).In the JP lab, Pragya is a PhD student. She is trying to do biochemical and structural characterization of the molecular mechanisms required for centromere recruitment of the Mis18 complex. This will help us better understand how centromere identity is maintained during cell division.Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading (mostly mystery and thriller!), watching TV series and movies, and exploring new places.
