8 Feb 2024 - Open Centre Meeting | Scottish Industrial Biotech Careers Event

The aim of this event is to provide an overview and examples of the local biotech ecosystem, what companies are currently out there, what sub-sectors they fall into and, broadly, what they may be looking for in new employees. To this end, we have invited speakers to give short presentations on their experiences, with time set aside for questions and networking - see more information below. We hope this event will appeal to people across the centre and school - all are welcome and see you there!

Tea/coffee and pastries will be available from 9.15am so pop over a little earlier if you can.

Programme

3 short talks (15-20 min) with time for questions:

  • Caroline Kewney (Senior Business Engagement Manager, IBioIC) will provide an overview of the Scottish Bioeconomy and give a summary of their >190 member organisations.
