Full sculpture view. A glass box containing crystal-like broken glass spheres in the centre. Glass strands with some of them having spheres on their ends grow from one of the walls of the container, depicting oviducts and ovaries.

"The Inner Forest"

This central artwork of the exhibition by David Mola is inspired by the artist’s discussions with the researchers working on reproductive science and with patients undergoing fertility treatment. It represents the fragility and delicacy of the both the IVF and research processes, with many failed attempts, but hope and life growing from these.
