LVB is currently developed within the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. EPCC, the Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre, is also involved in the project.

Earlier development has involved the Bioinformatics Unit at the University of St Andrews, the School of Biology at the University of St Andrews and the Computational Biology Group at the Scientific Computing Department of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).

Funding

Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) granted a PhD studentship to Joseph Guscott under the supervision of Daniel Barker and Thomas Meagher.
